The name "Root and Branch" refers to the two broad types of treatment that can be administered: the "Branch" treatment addresses the specific complaint (such as impotence, digestive problems, or nasal congestion), while the "Root" treatment focuses on resolving the underlying problem causing the complaint (such as generalized stresses, poor diet history, or constitutional imbalances).
